front parking sensors

One (possibly two) of my front parking sensors has failed (all four of the rears had already died and been replaced). I am looking on fleebay for replacements, but when looking, I found that they say the compatibility is for the front inner two only. Is this right? Why would it be the inners only?

Heres the ones I had quotes for for my avant with front and rear sensors :

7H0 919 275D 1QP (Front Inner which is painted black)

7H0 919 275D GRU (Rear primed for paint)

Though tbh the front inner being black goes not help as my grill is gray - and so if you need to paint it you might as well get a cheaper rear and paitn it yourself

The difference may be the angle of the connector (i.e right angled or only slightly angled hence you may not be able to fit the front inners on the outer rear etc etc..

Damn fiddly to fit (unless you have taken the bumpers off etc )

car is all black and custom black grill anyway the rears were left unpainted and you cant tell! Thanks for the part numbers!.

Will have a check at the weekend if they are different. Takes about 10 mins to pop the bumper off now!
