I have a 2002 S3 with a problem, at slow speeds when I shift between 1st and 2nd I sometimes get a clunk from the box, I feel it through the gear knob, sometimes it shifts really smooth. Does it both cold and warm. Any ideas?
Take note this car has 102k, FSH so it still has the original clutch and fluid.
Buying myself a new clutch on Friday, along with new fluid, full clutch pedal assembly with new slave (bought) and a forge short shift as its really ******* me off now in rush our traffic. And I'm using much more fuel as I need to speed up in 1st and quickly slot it into 2nd so it might not clunk. Cheers.
