2015 A4 Allroad 190 tdi remap advice please .

Hi all .

Although I've done a few searches on here, I can't seem to find much info on remapping the 190 tdi engine ??

My (new to me) 2015 190 manual gearbox A4 Allroad feels a bit flat, it just doesn't pull as much as I would like it to.

Can anyone tell me if the 190 tdi engine is safe and strong enough to remap to a level where you can feel the torque pulling as it should, and if the drive select would be affected by a remap, i.e. - economy and dynamic modes, etc ??

Have you scanned it for faults first? My 170 although no RS4 did surprise me how nippy it was

Hi,

No, I haven't scanned it, and it has the power I'd expect for the car, but you can just feel how restricted it is having to meet all the requirements for emissions, etc.

Would just like some info on whether the engine and gearbox hold up well to a mild remap, and whether the power and torque gains are worth the investment ??
