Hey all,

I'm new to the Q5 world! Recently picked up a lovely Ibis White Q5 as the new family car. Absolutely loving it. Having also got an S3 I'm no stranger to Audi so it's nice to have something familiar, and more practical...

I'm looking into updating the car a little however. The equipment inside is perfect for us so far, I am looking to replace the standard halogen rear lights to the LED ones. I have found a Kufatec which comes complete but to the tune of nearly £450...

My question is, if I purchased LED lights separately, got the required adaptors, would this be a plug and play swap, or will coding be required? I do have access to VCDS. Or is the Kufatec complete kit actually worth the cost? I've been reading about the coding and a few things say that coding is only required for tail and turn signal to be used at the same time, if I'm not mistaken.

Any tips or help would be appreciated.

All the best!
