Hi, with reference to my earlier post about a poor fitting Pipercross air filter. I thought that I would look elsewhere and did some research on the K and N site.
The site says that my 2007 S3 has no suitable KN filter. However if you click 2009 there is a filter available for the s3. Using the Pipercross site as a reference it appears that the same Pipercross air filter can be fitted from 2006 onwards. If this the case, why cannot the KN filter not fit all years?
So is there a difference regarding air filter/engine covers on the 2007 and 2009 models that KN have discovered or is it just a KN mistake.
As a way of checking, are the standard OEM S3 air filters the same for both 2007 and 2009 models?
