I have a 51 plate 2.5 v6 tdi. I purchased the car jusy before christmas so knowledge of its past is next to nothing.
On Sunday the car cut out doing 65mph and hasnt started since.
When i got the car home i firstly checked for codes which gave me needle position sensor intermittent (this has been on since I purchased the car) and quantity adjuster fault.
After a quick google i found that I cannot acces the quantity adjuster to see if its seized and i believe the issue to be within the control module.
I have checked there is fuel getting to injectors and its doing so very well.
I am yet to ohms test the control module pins to make sure theyre getting correct power etc to rule out and breaks in wire.
Im just wondering is there anything else I should be checking that may cause such faults.
If anyone requires any more info please ask.
Im not looking forward to the £400 bill for second hand pump.
