1.4tfsi 122bhp and 185 hardware

Good day all, hope someone can help me. I'm in the market for a A1 sline 1.4tfsi and the new ibiza Cupra. I know abit about the ibiza range and the engine in the lesser spec models. The ibiza Cupra and fr have the same engine hardware but the software makes the Cupra 180 and the fr 150, change the software on both and your looking at the same power figures after a remap.

soo, is this likewise in the A1? There is a 122bhp and a 185bhp, is the engine hardware different or is it all down to software?

No , the 185bhp is supercharged not only turbo charged i think

So the 122bhp isn't a twin charged engine :-(
