Q5 18" Winter Tyres on Q5?

    I have a set of winter tyres from my A6 Avant, that I am wondering whether I can use for my Q5 as a winter set-up. Would obviously need to source 18" Alloys, as I have 19"s on the car.

    Details as follows:

    Current set-up: 19” alloys with 235/55 R19

    My winter Tyres: 245/45/18

    Thanks @Tashfeen :icon thumright: Just need to work out what the offset is with current wheels, but that said, just need to ensure new 18" wheels matched the offset I would have thought. It does look as though will fit, but will provide bit of over read on speedo

    Thinking that profile is probably too low, and not right spec for SUV, so have probably answered my own question.
    Any good sites to get OEM wheels (Not fleabay or Audi :)

    Since I can't put smaller than 20" on my '18 SQ5 I looked up the part numbers of all the OEM 20" rims for the SQ5. I think these are the one's I'll try and find to put winter tyres on at some point:

    A bit of Googling should get you the 19" or 18" options. The above seems available from online stores based in Germany.

    Tyreleader are pretty good for decent ally wheels at reasonable prices. They are all TUV specified so will fit the vechicle with no issues. There are plenty to choose from. They are also very good for tyre prices. I use Nokian tyres that I have purchased from there.

    Really torn between OEM and going something like 20" BBS, and then use current 19"s for winter :):

    For some reason Audi don’t sell 19’s for the FY SQ5 I guess due to the size of the front brake discs. Seems there are non-OEM 19’s that fit though.

    Evidently the above is tosh, it’s the 18’s that are too small for the SQ5 brakes.
