My HID headlight kit has always caused problems, they always come on but half of the time they bring up all the ABS and traction control warning lights on the dash and some times even bringing on the EML (ABS fault code). So yesterday after refitting them after my MOT I moved the ballast boxes into the space behind the wings and hey presto no warning lights anymore.
I've turned the lights on and off randomly all day and no warning lights so fingers crossed its a permanent fix.)

Fingers crossed this is the end to your fault codes. :) X

I've always said putting the ballasts as far back as possible was the most reliable way to fix errors if you have them.

Good job......not had any issues with mine being located in each headlight

Difficult to believe that the ballast can give out so much interference that it causes fault codes, but obviously it does.

I followed James' advice and put them far back and I've not had any problems. Glad you've got it sorted though dude!
