Hi guys,

My newly purchased Dec 2009 S3 Sportback is coming up to 38k miles and am a bit confused about servicing e.g. Inspection / Fixed etc.

As I bought Audi Approved, I will need to get Audi to service it so know it will be expensive but I need to retain the 1 year warranty.

From deciphering the service schedule I believe I need:
  1. Change from Longlife to Inspection (as I do a lot of short journeys)
  2. 38k Service work
  3. Air Filter
  4. Spark plugs
  5. DSG Gearbox oil
  6. Haldex oil
  7. Brake Fluid
  8. Air Conditioning clean
  9. First MOT for car
The pollen filter was done at 32k miles. Do I need to do the fuel filter?

Does the above look correct and have I missed anything?

Once I know the full list, i'll start phoning the garages up. Hopefully by doing everything they will give a discount.

Thanks

Sounds good to me.

DSG / S-tronic oil + filter needs changing at about 38~40k, service booklet will state this. You need to tell them filter to, otherwise they'll leave the old one in.

Haldex only needs oil change as i suspect your car has the mk4 version.

Spark plugs last up to 60k. I change at about 40k as I do not wish for them to poss seize in position if left to long.

Fuel filter afaik is about 80k miles. It's a 15min max job.

A discount.. you are having a laugh!!!
