a3 tdi front mount intercooler

im hoping to put a front mount intercooler on my 1.9 tdi a3, with custom piping, is there a MAF sensor i need to have plugged in or any other sensor?

I believe the MAP sensor is in the top of the standard side mount inter cooler so you will need a MAP sensor tube or the pipework should have that in if the kit is specifically for your car...

Forge sell the MAP sensor tubes separately if need be...

<tuffty/> is spot on mate. You will need a map sensor tube.

Sorry guys bit off topic, but ..... What gains can be seen on tdi fmic. Is it worthwhile mod??? I'm going to do it on my s3 but I know stage 2 on s3 fmic is a must!

Cheers guys, wasnt expecting to pay so much for a fmic upgrade, doing the sfs turbo to pancake pipe hose, 1.8 turbo pancake pipe and custom piping and intercooler. Does anyone know the discount code for forge?

I have a 1.9 tdi 130 quattro a3 remapped to 180hp 400nm, full exhaust and fmic next week

People say different things about front mounts making any gains on a diesel, i had one fitted to my mg zr diesel and made a massive difference (main difference being alot more responsive) the a3 one has crap piping, also small intercooler that gets hot pretty quick, hopefully a big gain
