So i finally got that boost gauge fitted in an A3.

Boost goes up to around 1.5 bar briefly when the pedal is down, then drops to around 1.2 bar quickly.

k03s with a remap to a little over 200hp. Sound right?
 
K03 won't hold boost very long... typically drop right down as revs increase...

This is a typical plot for a K03..

So is the turbo in that plot and no it doesn't make any difference :)

By the way, i T'ed into the FPR, would it make any difference if i T'ed into the DV? I saw the condition of the connection between the FPR and the intake manifold, and the fabric thats around it is no good anymore in several places.
 
Personally not a fan of permanently T'n from the FPR as its quite an important bit of kit... if the pipe came off the boost gauge or something you could ****** the fuelling badly on boost...

Just replace the fabric covered hoses with silicone and you'll be fine.
