1st gear run down?

Have noticed for a while now that if I'm slowing to a junction etc from a high speed, when I push the clutch in for first gear it's as if the clutch is still connected to the engine and I get some grinding noise, if below a certain speed I don't get this only when coming from 40+. It gt much better when I changed my dog bone mount but it's been bugging me??? Any thoughts?

What speed are you putting it into first? typically at almost any speed at all changing to first will crunch a bit...

If it does this while stationary then it could be a syncro issue...
