I'm
selling a car and a potential buyer wants to know the reference on my last MOT
cert to check its mileage?

Is it safe to give out?

Cheers

Rob im sure that will be fine, dont think there is any other way available. x

To be honest, if you have nothing to hide, there's no problem at all. It's quite common for verifying the car's mileage these days, since quite a lot of cars for sale are clocked!

cheers both. i have nothing to hide i just didnt want to give any sensitive info away and then i get cloned or whatever!
