Just was wondering whether I should be remapping my A3 1.6 FSI or ...?

I usually get about 40 MPG on average RPM, so would that be improved if done so?!? Does it worth it?!?

I already got a few quotes and the cheapest one was £350!?! Is that what I should be expecting?!?

Anyone recons any company that they've remapped their A3s with?!?

Cheers

unless its a big displacement engine, remapping an NA engine isn't worth the money in my opinion. Remaps are worth it when forced induction is involved. I'd either spend the £350 on styling or put it towards something with more power. Ud be lucky to get 10hp more from a remap. Compare that to anything between 30-70 for forced induction and you see why its not worth it. If ur gonna spend ur money on engine tuning, always have a good basis to begin with, big displacement or forced induction.

No significant power or economy gains to be had, save your pennies.

Thanks guys, well I would not keep it for a long time, as I'm planning to buy a TT...
However I like engine tuning first and then moving to the look and style of the car...
