Keen on adding a catless downpipe to the S3 after the nice tone it gave my A3.

Problem is i've heard reports that you cannot install one on the S3 without removing the prop shaft first. Is this true and if so does anybody know what the various bolts that hold the shaft on should be torqued to after installation?

Little concerned about the shaft coming off mid drive :undwech:

100% off but not fully if that makes sense.... three star-ish bolts then push to one side. just enough room to wriggle the Milltek pipe past.

Really easy. for access to these bolts each time you take one out, spin front wheels (ie so shaft rotates) until another bolt comes around. makes life a hell of a lot easier!!

Thanks! Any idea what the bolts should be torqued to though?

Just use thread lock and go as tight as you can with the socket wrench. Works just fine :)
