Oil Top Up

Hi everyone

just checked my oil and its on half so was going to top it up. Not sure what oil I should use. Gonna pop up the shell garage. Do i need fully synthetic?

fully synth yeh. get 10w40 if you can.
not great to mix oils but a top up is ok

Half? as in half way up the chequered part of the dipstick? if so then thats were it should be... any more than that and it will potentially end up in the combustion chambers and damage the CAT...

mine never drops from being full
