Mate no shame in that...l got mine's from Tescos, cheaper you can get anything the better for everyone...got to be shrewd...when buying detailing products and accessories.....

Best Snow foams....either Ultimate snow foam or Valet Pro PH Nuetral....for the winter months that is....Valet Pro if l where pushed

Yeah I could've bought some online but I wanted the lance and holder, looking for some snowfoam I couldn't see any big bottles so I'm just using some karcher snowfoam at the moment, when I run out I shall get something better, also microfiber cloths are the bees knees

Yep - aim for an almost shaving foam like consistency !

How do you get the right consistency? Theres some levels on the bottle I filled the soap to the lowest notch on the bottle and filled the rest with warm water... For a start off I didn't think it was too bad, I wouldn't mind knowing how to get it right though!

I always go 2 inches soap ...the rest Hot/warm water. Seems to mix right for me, but I use Ultimate Finish Snow Foam (Great stuff)

The twist nozzle on top of the lance allows more or less of the foam through to mix with the mains water. All trial and error with how much is right though.

I use the 500 ml karcher snowfoam lance in the winter l use the snow foam neat in summer 50/50 l also add a little bit car shampoo into the bottle for more suds

Alright lads.

From Merseyside in the UK. Bought my A3 in October, 1.2 TFSI, nippy little thing, currently on 18" Cades and 40mm lowering springs.

First pic is without the lowering springs, second is with but haven't got a full pic yet!

Welcome to the forum! Cracking car..best colour and right number of doors.........

but those wheels are a no from me am afraid. They look really small and too busy tbh.. otherwise good on you for having that at 18. I had a 15 year old escort at that age... Lol.

They have all the wrong offset and the car doesn't suit them being so high. They'll do for the winter months then i'll see what i can afford when Christmas time is over. I had a focus before this, 1.6 TDCI and the A3 is lasting me about 2 weeks off a full tank, a lot better than i thought. I'm loving it at the moment, got the extras sat nav, couldn't go wrong!

Dislike you greatly at this moment It'll look sweet! Be sure to post some pics up when it's done

I think the bar pressure of the water pressure plays a huge factor. I've used the Karcher 2 and up to the K6 series and the higher the pressure the better the foam and sticking consistency. I noticed you've used the K2 series which doesn't have much power as compared to the K6. I've personally got the K4 Compact and its okay but we can't always have what we want. haha.

Will do buddy! Not looking forward to the fitting process as I hear it's quite hard, but it'll be worth it in the end I'm sure

Did you purchase that from Xenon UK?

I get great foam with a K2 and ultimate snow foam and a decent foam lance. TBH I found the lace made the most difference.

Yip a good quality snow foam lance will make a hell of difference
I need to get a new hose first before a lance it's like a sprinkler system with little holes splattered all a long it,jassy gets a good soaking aswell as the car lol
