Hi, Im after advice on my 2001 a3 8l i.8t.
Iv had problems with mis fires in the past due to the MAF. I sorted this by un plugging and re setting. No more mis fires and it idles sound too, but I have noticed recently that the engine is quite noisy on cold starts & the turbo will kick in occasionally when Im stationary for a few seonds. Is that normal? Last night the engine management light appeared though there doesnt seem to be any change in performance. I had the coilpacks changed so cant see it being them, though Iv heard cleaning the throttle body could be a solution. I would get it VAG COM but cant afford at the moment.
Anyone know what all these problems could potentially lead to? Any advice greatly appreciated.
