does anyone know where i can get hold of any votex bits ie front and rear valances and side skirts for my a4 avant other than scowering ebay? any help would be greatly appreciated,

The only place I reckon you could try would be the Audi dealers! QuattroJames recently added the following part numbers to the B6 Part Number thread, I have pasted these below for you:
Front Chin Spoiler: 8E0 071 609 9AX
Left replacement Grill: 8E0 071 612 L041
Right replacement Grill: 8E0 071 612 R041
Middle replacement Grill: 8E0 071 612 M041
Replacement clips (bag of 10 clips and 10 screws): 000 071 612V
Side Sill Kit: 8E0 071 685 9AX
Rear Skirt: 8E0 071 610U 9AX
Middle replacement Grille: 8E0 071 610 9AX
Adhesive: 000 071 780
Outer Grilles (single exhaust?): 8E0 071 611B 041
Outer Grilles (dual exhaust?): 8E0 071 611A 041
Rear Trunk Spoiler: 8E0 071 645 9AX

genuine audi votex body kit removed from a audi a4 b6 model,front and rear lower bumpers and side sills,some minnor cracks on the front bumper,would need repaired and painted to be perfect,pics of it fitted to my car they will be removed for collection.extremly rare kit £280
I've never seen or heard of a convincing replica kit, that said, the fit of some genuine kits leaves a bit to be desired!
There was a thread on here ages ago about someone who took his Votex off and moulded it into the bumpers, rather than leaving it as a 'bolt on' - that looked awesome! Can anyone remember that?
