All,
my brother in law has picked up an audi A3 w reg door 1.6.

First thing i noticed was that soon as you put the key in the drivers door lock it was really hard to turn and that the door would only open once the door handle was lifted up. From pushing the locking button inside the car i think its just the boot that locks =0S
The clock set on the car.. WTF!?!? before i had even put the key in the ignition the LED Display was having a disco and i was doing 60mph at 6000rpm?

I have no clue with Audi's as i have yet to experience them.
Any clues on the above or tips?
Im already considering a jerry can and a match!! haha

Sounds like an earth fault or dead gauges to me... As for the door lock, fill it with WD40 that usually works for me :p

Cheers

i look at another thread which is showing similar issues. A guy from OZ said something about his regulator was spiking over 12v causes the issues. Hopefully he will reply!

i had a quick look at the locks and its caked with crap so fingers crossed the wd does the trick!

Cheers
