Will 225's fit on my rims that have 235's? What problems would i have ?

Just seen a good price for some 225's
Currently have 235/45/17 on some 5 spoke sport rims

What would be the issues from having these on?
Im told they will fit by the tyre company, but concerned about handling or them popping off

Anyone done this already?

Several people throw 225's on to save money. I 'think' your wheels are a 7.5j so they will be fine.

Use a tyre calculator to check any effect on the rolling radius, but I expect it would be minimal.

they will be fine m8 no chance of popping off but more chance of curbing the wheels.....

You can find the tyre sizes recommended by the manufacturer by following the link. You'll notice that the manufacturer hasn't approved a 225 width tyre...
