Hi,

Is £300 for a 2005 RNSE a good price? Also, will any audi glovebox CD changer fit it, might want CDs as well as SD slots (am I right in thinking that 2005 will support 2x 2GB cards ?).

Thanks

Alex

PS, will my Nokia hands free (currently installed with Symphony II) work with RNSE ?

Cheers

One last one, will I need VCDS to fully install it ?

Not necessarily, it depends what values are currently stored on the RNS-E.

If say for example, telephone is coded into the RNS-E and you didnt have a telephone installed, everything would still work as normal, it would just throw a 'no-communication' fault which you wouldnt see until a scan was made on the car.

Just be careful where it comes from. £300 sounds like a very good price, just be aware that there's a lot of stolen units knocking about!

Yeah, thought about the possibility of it being nicked, but am collecting in person and it has the code and a NAV disc in a case etc.

Bought it now anyway, thanks for the help guys

Check s3Kel he had one for sale cheap, not sure if he still has it or not.
