After a long time to get the wheels to me, they arrived only trial fitted them roughly today

I really like them, even more so over the s-line wheels

However, I paid £160 delivered for them and expected as he said to only be kerbed on the face, fair play for the money to be expected

BUT i didn't expect them to have this wrong with them

Two wheels split on the inside edge

The black stuff is obviously tire bead sealer, so they leak air

Contacted the seller who suggested him paying to have them welded, but tbh with you it seems yet again I've been had off

I'm going to try and get my money back off him, as much as I like them I just don't fancy driving on them

He denies having a business called mc trading in Scotland but his number is on the website

Opinions welcome ???

The wheel's can be fixed I have used this company and the owner is a very good friend of mine.

Will they still be good and hold air etc after?

The seller has offered to pay to have them welded as that's all they need had them on the balancer and their quiet true, just the split that not keen on

They look ace mate!! Gutted about the split. Can't offer any advice as I don't know enough but good luck.

What size wheels are they?

Their 18x8 I prefer them because their not the norm, better in grey over silver

Yeah, they are a great colour. I have a dolphin grey a4 too, but an avant. Can't wait to see them when you get tyres fit.

They will hold the Air fine but the weld must be spot on (not a big clump of weld) The weld should not be noticeable .

Crazy88 will need a full refurb, maybe a touch different colour

CMD I see your saying I'm not tig expert but I've heard it can be done, just want them right if I'm going spend time refurbing the rest. If their not right I'll want rid

Ya the wheels look really good mate right color to but think I'd be naffed off if I'd payed £160 and have to pay out another £75 to £85 each wheel to get them welded up you pay for what you get with welding up wheels tbh*

Tig weld only should be about £30 I've been told on another forum

I'll do some more digging after work tomorrow

daz i know a geeza in the midlands who does porsche lambos and wheels from all over the world he charged me £40 for repair weld and straightening..... done a perfect job on mine

£40 a rim I can live with midlands not too far either worth a drive for the right job, have you got any details for him?

The seller said he'd help out with paying to sort them out so I'll get in touch with him see what he says
