put on the 17's for the spring and noticed my car starts to shutter when i get up to around 60mph and doesn't like to smooth out till 85mph. My wheels were balanced over the winter and i'm a nut about tire pressure so i'm perplexed. Then I remembered that my car doesn't have an under guard/skidplate/belly pan/front air dam. I'm not even sure the correct term i just know you have to take it off to do oil changes and when i got the car it never had one.
Anyways since the car sits a little higher with the 17's would not having this piece have a big affect on aerodynamics? I mean enough to casue that shuttering in the car?
If I need it do you know where I can pick them up for less than from audi? is there anything else I can do besides lowering the car to stop this as well?
