New one for you!
Want to put in a new pump on this 5000 mile engine, more for saftey sake, because original owner re-fitted his when block rebuilt, and even though he swears its fine I thought that while the engines out and everythings accessible I would replace as a precaution!
That was until I found that no-one does a pattern replacement part ( and I mean no-one) and even though the good old Haynes manual says you can replace the two ring gears you cant source them!!!
Well-actually someone does sell them-yep, AUDI, and guess how much they want? £195 + vat!!
There has got to be a cheaper way, any ideas, how about uprated ones????
Please someone give me some hope!This is totally doing my swede in!!!!
