Bad Idle

Ok so after finally getting the downpipe, exhaust etc fitted today. Initially the car ran fine. Parked the car up, went to start it a few hours later and the idle is all over the place. It revs to 2k then back to 0 and back up again then dies. What do you think is the problem. Is one of the lambda sensors gone or what. This is really annoying me and just topped off a real sh*tty day.

Check for any loose pipes dude 1st, mine was doing the same thought it was the maf at 1st bought a new one and it ended up being upper boost hose was loose

Have checked all pipes and everything seems fine. The car is seriously over fueling. If it is one of the lambda sensors which one do you reckon it is, post or pre cat.

Id say its most likley your lambda, and it could be either one of them, i had both go weeks between them. Get vagcom on it as there is telemetry for them, if one is running 0.0 then id say its that one which is nakerd. Best of luck.
