Spacer size???

Trying to help a friend sort out some spacers to help his wheels sit flush with the arches, think 10mm would do it, but thought I would check with you guys & gals first! Car is a B7 A4 cab, 2.0tdi, wheels are R8 reps, 19x8j all round with ET45.

If he lowers it he will need 20mm spacers and 225/35's, if it's standard height he will need 15mm's to sit flush.

I have dtm alloys (not sure on offset sorry possibly 43 ?) I have 10mm front and 12mm rear car is on H&R sport springs wheels are flush.
