Rear PDC parking sensors

Hi, I want to install rear parking sensors to my A3 Black edition and wondered if only an after market product would work, or can i buy a a loom and the sensors seperate from say ebay? Will my vehicle have the correct connections ect to install the second hand sensors and loom.

Hi Dave,

I was looking into this myself not too long ago when I was after a new A3 and wanted to know how easy it would be to install in case I bought one that came without. Luckily for me the car I bought already had it. Though from what I found out it is possible to retrofit original sensors and someone on this forum had posted a step-by-step guide, however I can't seem to find that thread anymore but I'm sure someone else will be able to point you in the right direction. As an alternative to an OEM install there is this option which is worth looking at, it requires no drilling and looks good value for money....

i hsve installed oem pdc in mine, its not as simple as plug and play but its not that hard. you do need to wire it in which can be a pain.
