Rocker cover breather pipe

Gentlemen( and ladies)
I have a query and I hope you can advise me.
Whilst changing the engine coolant sensor, I managed to snap the
Plastic pipe off of the 3 way rocker breather thing on top of the engine (afn) 1.9tdi.
How will this effect the general running of the car other than oil laden vapour escaping?
I have done an evry, blanked the egr, put cooker cleaner in the turbo etc so am fairly clued up.
I am just not too sure if this is a pressure system which will not appreciate leaking to atmosphere.

In answer to my own question, I have done 500 miles of motorway driving today, and noticed no loss of either power or oil.
Therefore, I feel confident that it makes little difference.
