Has anyone used 10-40w Petronas oil. I have aquired a few litres and been told it is a high quality oil.

Would you say yes or no to using it in a 2000 model S3, that has done 99k miles?

The only thing I know about Petronas is that they have quite a big involvement in F1 sponsorship. They used to run their own car in the 90's some time I think and now they sponsor the Malaysian GP, I think I saw their logo on a Mclaren Mercedes not too long ago. So based on that they can't be too bad but as above the viscosity of that oil isn't ideal for your car, you need 5w30 full synthetic IIRC. Castrol Edge, Millers & Fuchs Titan are rated highly on SCN. I personally stick with Edge or Mobil 1.
