service light

Picked up the a3 today i noticed that when i switch it on just below where is is says ok on the led display it says service for about 5 seconds then goes off the garage i had it from have done a service on it so a is this the service warning and b is it easy to reset on the a4 i just part chopped was a combination of the clocks reset buttons to clear is it the same idea with the A3 or do i need to buy an adapter module to plug in to clear it

Pretty sure it has to be cleared by VW.

I'm not aware, but i'm sure you can get an aftermarket module to do this yourself maybe?
