Sharks fin colour coding

Got a sharks fiin aerial on the my Avant but its a non-colour coded black item. I know with colour coded parking sensors a special ultrasonic type paint is used so as not to interfer with the sensors, does anyone know if I need the same special paint on my aerial because of transmissions or will regular paint do?

rear sensors are painted with normal paint
normal paint will do

I remember needing pre-painted items on an X5 I had

Whats the fin all about, I've seen some A4's with and 'most' without.. Is it a SAT NAV thing?

the fin has 3 diff uses
either 1 2 3 wire
phone nav radio
avants seem to have them more than the saloon tho

I think they look cool - or maybe chav... ?

Could be a Sat Nav and Avant thing, my motor is both though so don't really know for sure lol
