i need new drops link for my 1999 A3 1.8T, they sre starting to annoy me, been putting it off for a while. the question i would like to know is, where do you guys get them from.

i don't want anything uprated just a standard replacemnt ?

Either Audi, TPS, GSF or any local parts factors. The OE ones are the best bet I would say, and speaking from experiance, not too expensive either, IIRC, around £16 a side? I think...., pattern ones are cheaper still, some I've seen from £7 each, wouldn't put too much faith in them though!

just went and checked mine, i got plastic ones, is it possable to get them in metal, as i don't want to replace with plastic

realy? i thought they were all metal! never ever seen plastic ones

Quattro's got metal, FWD had plastic. The earlier Q's had plastic too. Nowt wrong with them either.
