2.5 tdi Oil amount for service.

Hi

I need to know how much oil i need to purchase to do a service, i have been told this engine take 6 litres of oil, is this true? if not what is the correct amount. It is a 1998 model, fwd.

As far as I can see mate, its as follows:

Engine 5.5 Litre Capacity

Coolant 6 Litre Capacity

Manual Transmission 2.3 Litre Capacity

Automatic Transmission 9.8 Litre Capacity
