I got an advisory on my MOT that these have split and need replacing but they never failed the MOT for me as they're not causing any excess movement.

Couple of questions...

what are they?

where are they?

how much to replace?

Is it something I can do myself (little experience in any car work! I've changed brake pads on a Corsa C and then the whole calliper as the bleed valve has seized and sheared and I couldn't get it out!)

if not, how much labour roughly is expected to get them replaced?

Is there any other bushes or anything I should look at getting replaced on a 120K mi car while I'm on it?

Ta :)

Not sure of price etc but I'm sure they will be talking about the bushes at the back of the front wishbones.

I got a quote from audi for £225 per side i think.

£225 PER SIDE! for front wishbone bushes!

Took me about an hour per side on the drive, there's 7 bolts to undo from memory, I replaced the bushes with the Whiteline anti lift kit though. I imagine at the £225 Audi just replaced the full wishbone?

jeeze! If going down that route I'd get the TT arms that let you dial in some extra camber for better cornering LOL
