tdi 130 how noisy?

This may sound like a daft question but how noisy are other peoples cars? mine seems to get a boost in decibels at 2000rpm but when i cruise on the motorway above this it seems to quieten down.

are you talking about road noise or engine noise or both lol

engine noise. sorry shoulda said. If I dip the clutch it goes quiet. although the dunlop sport tyres dont help.

i cant say mine is over noisy at 2000rpm i think when i get too 2000 and stay there its ok its just the getting there i here it really but maybe thats just me but i do find the road noise loud with this car

probably me being paranoid. I dont have much luck with cars.

how long you had the car mate i was paranoid as hell for the first 6 mths of owning mine lol

just over 3 months. had it 8 hours and the clutch and flywheel went and they fixed it under warranty but put a faulty flywheel in so had to go back again. before that i had a honda accord icdti. had it for 2 weeks and the timing chain snapped cos the dealer didnt fit it correctly. before that i had a rover 75. enough said lol.

ha ha ha rover ok im sure it will be fine now mate im not saying it will not have any thing go wrong but the tdi,s are really strong engines try not to worry
