Steering making loud noise when turning while stationary

As above, i have a 1.9tdi Quattro Sport and when turning the wheel it makes like a sreeching/judder/belt slipping kind of sound...lol, It's the best way i can describe it. I've changed the belts so i know it's not them. I was thinking Tensioner or even worse power steering pump? Any help appreciated...

Mine was making the same type of noise with the aircon switched on, and when i turned the steering wheel. It turned out to be the clutch on the alternator pulley, but it could be on anything as they are all run off the auxillary belt.
If it is the clutch on the aircon pump then the whole pump has to be replaced, but Audi just changed the pulley on the alternator,
I also have a 1,9TDI but not Quattro, good luck.

Thanks, sounds like i might need a bit of luck. The noise happens even without the aircon on....As soon as you start to turn the wheel it sounds like the belts are slipping and the tensioners loose is maybe a better way to describe the noise....Looks like a trip to the garge to source the problem
