1.8t diverter valve

Ok guys finally looked under the engine today lol and found out it's a awt engine but my question is where is the diverter valve on these as what I thought was it has no vacuum pipe on the top and I've ordered a uprated one when I had my mk4 golf it was at the top of the block but carnt find this one is it me being thick lol
