    You need the exact code. It sounds like an EGT fault that is triggering limp mode. Disconnecting the MAF is effectively disabling the EGR fault monitoring which is why the car feels ok.

    This is the B7 platform, the A5 shown above is the B8 platform. B8 platform have even better figures, we are knocking on the door of 300bhp on a Stage 1.

    Gains aren't quite as large, but you will see more power if starting with 233PS Rick

    That's correct yes. And with the hybrid they loose their low end punch so don't feel any faster. DPF delete, EGR delete and remap and perhaps some exhaust work for the sound is the best way to go.

    The intercooler isn't going to give you any significant gains on these, the standard injectors are quite close to their limit after a DPF delete and custom remap. I would recommend doing the DPF delete and remap and then seeing what you think - it's simply the best value for money. Rick

    Could be for a number of reasons. We have different tools, as sometimes an ECU just doesn't play ball with one particular tool. Worst case I would just take it out and do it on the bench. Rick

    There is no such thing as under perform as such. Yes, there is more power available with more boost, but most of the power can be had without. A remap for your car from myself is £250. A new turbo - they are around £900 plus fitting. Rick
