In for mot on tues so get them to do an oil flush change and filter,ive tested the pcv valve and it seems to be doing its job. what led you to believe yours was faulty?

Yeah the smoke is def more blue, almost sure its burnt oil. Always did it a very small amount but now is worse than ever, if leave to idle for more than a minute or so it emits a very large puff of blue smoke

I would say go for the 180 quattro, even get the s3 if you can afford, otherwise you will do what i did and buy just a standard 1.8t a3 and then spend the next couple of years finding out about all the extras the s3 has and your car doesnt lol. However i still love the audi.

Your lucky you have the option, i have a3 1.8t remaped, and 2nd and sometimes 3rd battle to keep front wheels in traction if gunning it. She eats the front tires, but what the hell 4 wheel drive is for girls :lmfao:

240 bhp, def not hitting maf limit, Pretty much standard apart from chip, just had a new maf, car seems to have fueling problems around idle, could this be map related as prob seems to have come by since? thought about pressure testing for vac leaks but it seems to hold boost well enough

Im running and agu and its flowing 16psi of boost, think the car runs rich as plugs go sooty black in a matter of weeks, could this be becuse my map is flowing to much for my maf?

Dont think its maf related, would the fuel pressure regulator on my fuel rail cause this?

Do you notice any performance issues between the standard plastic dv and the uprated forge one?, apart from the forge being stronger.

I replaced my dv recently, as the old one had a split and was working incorrectly. I worked it out as i could hear the chatter, but i wasnt easy to hear (windows down uphill on a country lane) so really ask yourself whats the point. Also when i replaced my dv i needed a new maf, not sure how the...
