Problem is its almost impossible to prove as as soon as you drive away from the garage, you or someone else could have interfered with the wheel nuts. Its the same as an mot, its only valid until you drive away.

This is my tailgate after taking the standard plate off. Holes were quite close together on my A6. On my last car, an A4 the holes were right at the edges of the standard plate and therefore I couldn't fit a shorter plate. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

I just use the sticky pads that come with the plates. they are ridiculously sticky and difficult to get off when you have to remove them. I've just ordered a tinted 4D short front plate to match the rear one.
