Cossies are a bit all are nothing boost wise, I want something a bit more useable... the hybrid k04 looks okay but I don't want something I'm going to get bored of quickly :weary: How much boost did you run on the hybrid K04 and on the GT30??

Engine threw a rod probably due to overboost i mentioned in a previous thread :cower: not quite sure on extent of the damage to the crank yet :sadlike:

I am building a fully forged BAM for my S3, I'm aiming for 330-360bhp
Now i am not an VAG expert by any means my experience is mainly in Fords, so I was wondering how necessary is a big port head for the sort of power I am aiming for

Have scanned it with the VCDS a few months back no fault codes shown, I have a forge recurc DV I know these are prone to leaks may try changing that... have access to a dyno at work just can't be bothered with disconnecting the haldex lol
I've been having a few issues with my N75 (who hasn't lol) and was thinking of replacing it with an AVC-R I have spare...
Has anyone done this already and if so where is the ecu wiring that I wire the avcr into, how do I blank the N75 and does it make a noticeable difference??? TIA
So my S3 has recently developed what sounds like boost leak - a loud whooshing noise whenever it comes on boost, it has lost a bit of power and after trying to boot it 3/4 times it goes into limp mode
Have done a boost leak test and we found a few split hoses which were replaced but even after...
