If you can afford it, then go for it. I know if I could afford the RS4 then I would swap my S4 in for it. The performance difference may not equate to the price difference but looks wise, it is far more aesthetically pleasing on the eye and much more aggressive (yet subtle) than the S4. Also...
These TFSI mpg figures are sooo bad, you may as well just buy the s4. My B9 S4 get'S 38 mpg on a 2 hour motorway journey to Birmingham if I cruise at 75 mph. Done this journey at least 6 or 7 times and always get above 36 mpg on the motorway.

have a look at this thread guys. I had dunlops on my A7 and it just caused me stress and anxiety. Kept getting punctures at first, cause obviously you can't see that your tyre is cracking on the inside. Thankfully...
My company car is a 150 ps Leon Fr (DSG) and all i do is what others have said, plant foot on the brake and then plant my foot and release it after about 2 seconds. If i have my foot on the brake for too long the revs go down again. It's not the greatest launch but there's still enough torque...
I'm not too sure on the exact capacities of both, but the A7 boot has plenty of space. Have managed to fit 3 large suitcases, 2 small ones and various bags fairly easily. The only annoying thing is the automatic boot doesn't want to shut if there's a slight obstruction and decides to raise...
I'm not sure what package that falls under for the electric seats, maybe convenience pack? I've got an A7 which is a failry bulky car and I don't have a reversing camera but audio and visual sensors and have had no issues with parking it. The visual sensor is more than adequate enough, of course...
Hi mate,
If you're looking for the bigger dash screen, you need to be looking out for technology pack advanced which gives you a wider more HD screen and also gives you the map option on your dash rather than just arrows. With the C7.5 the 3 litre engine comes in 272 and 320 bhp packages and I...
Hi Guys,
Picked this beauty up a couple weeks ago and I've had plenty of fun in it. I thought it would be fun to max it out and get to 155 mph but to my amazment it carried on going. I got to 163 but didnt' manage to get the picture but it felt like it could carry on going.
So my question is...
I was so happy for you mate reading the first page of this thread.
Hopefully it gets resolved and they put you in another rs4. This for me is only downside to choosing the rs4 over the b9 s4. The chances of something going wrong are higher.
That 4.2 litre v8 blows the s4 engine away purely on sound and feel. It turns heads anywhere but the thing that keeps the b9 s4 in contention for me is the better tech and the virtual cockpit. I know it shouldn't be that big a deal but the interior in the b9 just seems like a great place to be.
Really interesting reading this. I currently drive a b8.5 a4 which is your typical boring diesel and I'm looking at both the b8 rs4 and b9 s4.
Really keen to find out what you go for as my thought process is the exact same as yours haha
Car looks amazing!!! Daytona grey is the best colour in my eyes. Navarra blue isn't as nice as estoril blue. Option wise you literally have everything available. Perfect spec.
That's what I love about this car, it's just so stealthy, to the untrained eye it's just a big estate but reality is it can keep up with s3's and golf R's.
To me that seems like an attractive offer, only because i paid a 3k deposit and pay 300 a month on a crappy a4 b8.5 s line which was 2 years old at the time of purchasing. So it seems like I've been mugged off :sob:
If you don't mind me asking, which dealership did you get this offer from? As...
Wow, congrats on the car. It is PERFECT! you have actually built my dream car in the exact spec as well (only thing i would add is a pan sunroof)
if you ever sell it, let me know haha
Absolutely beautiful car, this is the car i want next and you've had it built exactly how I'd do it myself haha
is this a 3 litre? and if so what bhp is this one?
Hi, I work in insurance and know that some companies use a telematics device with no restrictions and will only bump up your price at renewal when all the driving data has been collected (if you're driving fast). But the companies only use the driving data themselves so if your#e not happy at...
