Did you ever find this dash issue? I have the same. I've had the dash apart and to no avail. Last resort I'm going to take the speedo out and dynomat everywhere I can behind the speedo. I have done the door and where I can access from under the steering column. It's made about a 50% difference...
A good amount of copper grease should sort the squeal. The thing I can't get immune to is an interior rattle. I've had the door card off and half the dash out and It's still there lol
Mine have been squealing for ages. I'm immune to it. But both front discs have quote prominent scores around them.
I've got EBC yellow stuff pads and Zimmermann discs, just need to replace them. Looking at it i think they are pretty much identical to work on as the S4 brakes
Hi all,
does anyone have any links to how to change the discs and pads on the b9 RS4?
I can find loads for the S4/5 but not RS
I have a 2021 B9.5 RS4 and although the pads are about 60% the discs are quite worn and scored.
thanks in advance
Hi all, tried doing a search but couldn't pinpoint what I was looking for. Does anyone have any picture instructions on how to change the rear pads on a 2011 S3? Is there any special tools required? Thanks
Hi all. Recently changed the DV on my S3 as was under the impression it was playing up but turned out to be my plugs. I therefore have a working Rev D DV for sale. It's on a car that's has only done 20k so is pretty much in new condition. £35 to anyone who wants it.
Yeah just bought one from Halfrauds. Just gently bend tip of the plug towards the electrode and keep checking the gap until there is very slight resistance. As I said next thing is to try the new map as it does feel like the knock sensor might be regarding the timing slightly
So an update. New DV fitted this morning and taken for a drive, still some minor bunny hopping down the road between 2-3.5k rpm í ½í¸¡! Off I went to get some NGK PFR7's and a falling tool. Old Bosch plugs out, two looked slightly more fowled than the others and in with the NGK's gapped to 0.7...
I've had the DV out once already. It's right at the front of the engine. It did feel like the plunger was sticking slightly when I took it out but until the new one arrives tomorrow I've no idea if this is normal or not. Where is good to buy the NGK PFR plugs? German and Swedish round the corner...
Well I've been to the Audi garage and ordered a new DV. Drive down there with gearbox in D and under now real load it drive perfect. Coming back putting my foot down it jerked and juddered as the boost came on up to 3500k rpm then ok. See what the new DV does otherwise I'll change the plugs and...
Which plugs would you recommend I go for should they be changed? I've been looking online and there seems to be Denso VK22 but not sure what I think of denso or NGK iridium IX?
