Not sure this is anything, but every time I turn the ignition on the Radiator fan kicks in. The engine is obviously stone cold. just seems odd.

The plot thickens, I have inspected the relays in the ECU and I have just noticed that Relay 202 has been opened previously. Although I can't see any corrosion or burning. 219 seems in good condition also.

Am i right in thinking the ECU fuse will be located on the side of the dash, the the other fuses? Checked all fuses at side of dash. there is 4 that say "Engine Management" but no fuses in any of them and there isn't any connection to insert fuse. Checked the fuses In the ECU box (W.R Motors)...

Yes turns over but just won't start. Strangely there isn't a coil light but I'm not sure whether that's a safety feature built into other parts. So if an oil pump fails it cuts the power to the starter. I think it's going to be a slow and drawn out conclusion.

Ruffrida, the vehicle isn't starting. The Audi has been to another specialist today (W.R Motors) and no one is able to communicate with ECU. I'm uncertain as where to go from here. My last resort is Audi main dealer but at £109 an hour i really cannot afford this + they could have the same issue...

Thanks all, for your responses. Apparently there is an expert looking at this today to determine the fault(s) as the normal mechanics who looked at this yesterday couldn't get a definitive answer. In the words of the mechanic it was "throwing them all ways", Hopefully this won't end up costing...
