Hi, Had a similar issue with mine. Was the ignition switch. The s-contact in the switch was faulting causing the car to think the key was being withdrawn from the igntion barrel, hence switching the radio on and off.

Put the standard filter back in, and try it.

I would change it back to the standard air filter mate as i suspect this is your concern. See how you get on! Is the k&n filter an oil based filter do you Know? If it is you may have to replace the air mass meter again, but i would say the K&N is the root of your issues mate!!

Just a thought, are you running a standard air filter? or a aftermarket one?

Hi, can't seem to get the pictures up, will have a look tomorrow night!!! Really pleased with the results tho..... My A3 MY 2011 comes up with 'lights are on' and the fuel can symbol, however on my A3 MY 2009 it didn't so it must be an improvement they have made.

Yeh they will work, my A3 sport was a 2010 model year and i had no problems! This is the only picture i have but you get an idea of the difference from the yellow standard bulb!

Yeh the bulbs are road legal, i had no problems with them at all and had them installed for a year, no error codes etc. Yeh i followed numerous threads on here and found them through a thread on here.
