Yes, I suppose I've answered my own question, there. Just haven't been getting the dashboard messages which confused me. But 18000 miles is 18000 miles whether the car's asking for a service or not. I'll book it in. Thanks, guys...
18K/yr. But it's done over 18K since the last service. If servicing's been set as "Flexible" (up to 18600 miles) surely it should on the count-down to a service now with the associated dashboard messages....
My car asked for its first service after about 9000 miles. It's now done about 27000 miles and hasn't warned me that it should be serviced any time soon. However, I've received a couple of emails from the dealer to say that the car is due (and now overdue) for a service. I suspect this is...
....and protecting the bonnet from when your 6 year old decides to use it as a slide. Not a mark. (Kenzo from IGL Coatings used. Hard as nails. Probably harder, actually)
Thanks, X3man. Do you mean the spring mechanism in the end of the hose that's attached to the washer? The one which you attach the two detachable nozzles to shown in the picture (or your foam lance)? It's as if the spring mechanism in the end of this hose (attached to the washer) won't compress...
It's always been quite difficult to detach the nozzle from my Karcher K4 pressure washer but never a problem to attach the foam lance. All of a sudden, I just can't get it to attach. I'm baffled. Any ideas?
I've looked in the manual and played with all the gadgetry but still can find no way to change the radio (volume) to default to "off" or at least the last selection it was left (on/off). So every time I start the car, regardless of whether I had the radio on or not when I stopped it and locked...
Thanks, cuke2u. That was the thread I started that lead me to buy the Bilberry wheel cleaner. But I hadn't realised it was alkali which is what now concerns me so thought I'd run it passed the keen detailers, too, as you'd suggested. I appreciate your help, though...
I've just bought some ValetPRO Bilberry Wheel Cleaner to use as a regular maintenance wash every week or so (diluted 1:10). I didn't realise it's for painted/lacquered wheels only and is alkali. Am I correct in thinking that my 5 V-spoke matt titanium diamond cut alloys (A4 Black Edition) are...
I snow foam them and the rest of the car with Auto Finesse Avalanche and have just bought some Wheel Woolies which have been great. The design of the wheels makes them easy, too
I think you're probably right. When I cleaned them the other day it was like wiping a wet teflon pan. The brake dust just sits on top and most gets washed away with the pressure washer. I'm paranoid about trashing them with chemicals as I made that mistake with my old Golf.
