Hi ,just looking to put my mind at rest (hopefully) , dpf warning came up on the DiS today , I do a lot of shortish journeys during the week so gave the car a 30 min motorway drive and warning went off ,regen complete ,my question is how often should this need to be done? Not owned the car long...

Took the car down to http://www.audi-sport.net/xf/members/processpaul.94391/ last weekend and he reset it using Vagcom for me and also coded the “alarm chirp”on locking,nice chap and very reasonable.

Thanks for the reply , I am going to get the car up on a ramp one night this week and see if I can pin it down, thing is I get the loud rumble when pulling up to a stop from the front , but the whine seems more from the rear, maybe a mix of tyre and w/bearing .. will post my findings once up on...

Ok, the car came with faily new maxis tyres all round 225/40/18 with a v type tread pattern, the car has had new front wheel bearings both sides and new discs and brembo pads all round, the problem I have is the noise . It sounds like bearings but I don't get it when turning just on strait roads...

Ok will give 32 all round a go , must admit it does feel over inflated at the front if you know what i mean compared to previous cars i have owned (and there has been many ) also from the wear point of view it makes sense.
