EGR fault wouldn't make it cut out buddy.. I'm no expert by any means but I do know that the EGR would cut the car out.. if it was cutting out, it must have been something fuel or air flow related. it could have possibly been something to do with the fuel filter clogging things up? then again...

I had the same, was a fuel line split bit late now.. haha
